Magnolia

The magnolia in this painting is from the tree across the street from my house.  It's an amazing tree and blooms nearly year round regardless of the weather.  I noticed today that it still has dozens of blossoms despite cool nights and rainy weather.

The original 4" square pastel pencil drawing was made on a piece of linen paper.  I was given a box of printer's paper samples by a friend who runs a print shop, and I loved this very delicate paper.  The original can be yours framed simply in a 'shabby chic' frame for $75.  Unframed prints are available for $12, and can be shipped to you within 2 weeks.
